Il Palagio, a beautiful 16th century villa near the town of Figline Valdarno, was once the home of Duke Simone Vincenzo Velluti Zati di San Clemente. Now belonging to Trudie Styler and Sting, the villa and estate nestle among the green hills south of Florence, enjoying an extraordinary panorama of rolling countryside, vineyards, olive groves, cypress and oak forests as well as a view of the lush Appenines.

The entire estate has been lovingly restored and provides a haven of tranquility for guests. With a cool loggia to relax on during long hot sunny days, a large swimming pool, tennis court, a serene lake for swimming, nearby stables, and many beautiful places around the house and gardens to relax and dine, Il Palagio has been the summer retreat for Sting and Trudie’s family and friends for more than 15 years, and the setting for many family occasions, parties and private concerts.

With three separate smaller houses within the grounds of Il Palagio’s main villa, and a further two large villas nearby, the estate and properties are now available for hire for weddings, corporate events, and holiday rentals.

Within the estate there are several locations suitable for parties, indoor or poolside, in the wine cellar or loggia, on the terrace or in the courtyard. Events can be for as few as 20 to as many as 400 guests. On-site parking or transportation can be arranged. A state of the art recording studio and conference/yoga centre can also be booked. The six houses in total can accommodate 50 guests. Amenities include housekeeping, kitchens, wifi, a computer centre, pools, tennis court, playground, concierge services and more.

Fees for guesthouse and site rentals for weddings vary according to number of guests.
